Leading Sports Medicine (LSM) brings together a network of experienced physiotherapy and sports medicine clinics across Melbourne’s eastern and north‑eastern suburbs.
Our clinics in Healesville, Lilydale, Heathmont and Doreen share a common philosophy: healthcare should be about more than treating pain. It should help you understand your body, recover well, build resilience and continue doing the things that matter to you.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Whether you're recovering from a sporting injury, managing a musculoskeletal condition, returning after surgery or simply want to stay strong and active as you get older, our team focuses on your goals and the outcomes you want to achieve.
Across the LSM network, our approach combines evidence-informed physiotherapy, sports medicine and progressive rehabilitation with access to complementary allied health services. Where appropriate, our team works collaboratively with sports and exercise physicians (Sports Doctors), GPs and other health professionals to provide coordinated care.
From junior athletes and weekend competitors to experienced sportspeople and active older adults, our goal is simple:
Help you recover. Help you perform. Help you stay active for life.

Book at DoreenEach LSM clinic has its own local team and areas of expertise, while sharing the knowledge and resources of the broader Leading Sports Medicine network. This connected approach means care can extend beyond simply managing symptoms.
Our practitioners aim to identify the factors contributing to an injury or limitation, establish a clear rehabilitation plan and help each patient build the capacity to return to the activities that are important to them.
For some, that means returning to competitive sport. For others, it might mean running again, getting back to work, recovering after surgery, keeping up with the kids or simply walking and exercising without worrying about pain.
Whatever your starting point, our focus is on helping you achieve a better long‑term outcome more than physiotherapy, a pathway to lifelong performance.
Keep up to date on the latest in sports medicine and physiotherapy from across the LSM network.
